Lowe Indonesia Awarded Garuda Airlines Business

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lowe Indonesia has been awarded the coveted Garuda Airlines business, following a hotly contested pitch process, led by Amelia Nasution, Garuda Airlines Vice President of Marketing. The pitch was very hotly contested and had been with Dentsu for the some ten years. The agency will now work with Garuda Airlines to create full service advertising and digital campaigns aimed at further building a presence strongly aligned to the local and international marketplace. The national airline was founded in 1949 and continues to grow, linking the Indonesian group of islands to the major cities of Indonesia, Asia and the world.

Joseph Tan CEO, Lowe Indonesia added: - "This was definitely one of the toughest pitches we have been lucky enough to participate in and we were up against formidable agencies. The prestige and privilege of managing the national carrier brought out the very best in us. This is a hard fought victory and we are absolutely delighted to be awarded the business."
