Terra Tech Corp. Responds to Symbol Change from TRTC to TRTCE

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Terra Tech Corp. (OTCBB: TRTC), a leader in sustainable agricultural products, is responding to the symbol change from TRTC to TRTCE, by informing investors that they are current in their filings and the symbol change was an error on the part of FINRA.

An "E" is generally added to a symbol by FINRA when a company is not current in its filings. Terra Tech is in fact current in their filings. FINRA did not realize that Terra Tech changed its fiscal year-end from September 30 to December 31 and mistakenly added the "E" to inform investors. Terra Tech in fact disclosed the change in fiscal year end in a form 8-K, filed with the SEC on June 13, 2012. The company spoke with FINRA today and FINRA confirmed that a mistake had been made and informed the company that the symbol will be corrected in tomorrow's trading.

"We understand that, at times, mistakes happen and that FINRA's primary role is to protect and inform investors," says Derek Peterson, CEO of Terra Tech. "We appreciate how quickly they identified and remedied the error."
