IDC Names Industry Advisory Board

World Class Group to Assist Management Efforts

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- International Dispensing Corporation (IDC) (IDND.PK), a leading food-and-beverage packaging innovator, announced today the formation of an Industry Advisory Board, initially comprised of three distinguished members of the food and packaging industries. Mr. William Hickey (Chairman and CEO of Sealed Air Corporation), Mr. Markus Brettschneider (President and CEO of FrieslandCampina Germany), and Dr. Aaron Brody (CEO of Packaging/Brody, Inc. and renowned food packaging academic scholar) have agreed to join IDC's Advisory Board, whose purpose is to confer with and support IDC management, making strategic recommendations that will foster the company's continued success.

While IDC's Board of Directors authorized up to five members for its Industry Advisory Board, the Company has chosen to inaugurate three members:

Since 2000, Mr. William Hickey has been CEO of Sealed Air Corporation, a global manufacturing and marketing company with leading positions in food safety and security, facility hygiene, and product protection. With sales of approximately $7.9 billion, operations in more than 62 countries, and over 25,200 employees, Sealed Air is recognized for its innovative brands such as Bubble Wrap® brand cushioning materials, Cryovac® food packaging solutions, and Diversey™ cleaning and hygiene products and services. During his tenure at Sealed Air, Mr. Hickey completed 42 acquisitions, realigned the company's manufacturing footprint to focus on emerging markets, and expanded the company's operations in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Mr. Hickey earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, and also served as a U.S. Naval Officer.

Mr. Markus Brettschneider is President and CEO of FrieslandCampina Germany, the market leader in dairy products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Spain with sales of $1.3 billion. Its parent company, Royal FrieslandCampina (based in The Netherlands) is the world's fourth largest dairy with global sales of $16 billion spread throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Previously Mr. Brettschneider served as President and CEO of Refresco, a leading European beverage company, and prior to that as President and CEO of SIG Combibloc North America, one of the world's leading system suppliers of aseptic carton packaging and filling machines. He received a BBA in International Marketing from the University of Villingen in Germany and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Edinburgh Management School in Scotland.

Dr. Aaron Brody, Adjunct Professor of Food Science and Food Technology at the University of Georgia, is one of the world's foremost scientific experts in his field. Author of 10 books on a vast range of food and food packaging topics, recipient of over 40 awards and honors, contributor to numerous books, journals, and publications, and consultant to many of the world's largest packaging companies, Dr. Brody was inducted into the Packaging Hall of Fame in 1995 and in 2000 was named "Packaging Guru of the Century" by Packaging Strategies periodical. Michigan State University established the Aaron Brody Distinguished Lectureship in Food Packaging (2007 in perpetuity) and for many years Dr. Brody has taught food packaging courses to graduates and undergraduates at major universities, including Missouri, Clemson, Michigan State, Saint Joseph's, Keller Graduate School of Management, and University of Georgia. Dr. Brody received a B.S. degree and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Northeastern University.
