Gareth Hall Promoted to President and Managing Director of Ontic
CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- BBA Aviation today announced the promotion of Gareth Hall to President and Managing Director of its Ontic subsidiary. In his new role, Hall will be responsible for all Ontic activities in the company's Chatsworth, CA, Houston, TX, Cheltenham and Slough, UK locations.
Hall has been with BBA Aviation since 2002 in a variety of progressively more important positions. He started in London at the corporate headquarters within the Group Internal Audit function, then as Financial Controller for ASIG Europe, then as Director of Finance for Signature Flight Support in Europe, Middle East and Asia. In 2009, Hall relocated to the U.S. as Divisional CFO for BBA Aviation's Legacy Support Division which provides support for legacy aircraft platforms both civil and military through licensed production and the repair and overhaul of aftermarket parts. Most recently Hall, as Managing Director of Ontic UK, led the transition of a fuel gauging business acquisition into the Ontic UK facility in Cheltenham, England.

Prior to joining BBA Aviation, Hall worked for audit, tax and advisory service firm KPMG on a variety of assignments in Scotland, Australia and Asia. He earned a Master of Arts degree with honors in Economics from Aberdeen University (UK) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sydney.
Hall succeeds Peg Billson to whom he will report. Billson is now the President and CEO of the newly formed BBA Aviation Aftermarket Services Division.
