CastleVille 'O Kingdom Magnificent' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

To begin a new year in both the real world and CastleVille, Zynga has brought Quinn back to our Kingdoms with a new series of "O Kingdom Magnificent" quests. Quinn is trying to create the best poem possible in dedication to your Kingdom, and you'll need to help him prepare the right words over nine new quests. We're here with a guide on how to complete these quests, with the requirements being discovered by the folks at V56. Let's get started!

Magical Kingdom

  • Have 5 Leather Bindings

  • Have 4 Peacock Feathers

  • Clear 5 Nature Items

The Nature Items are things like Dead Logs or Grass, while the Peacock Feathers can be earned by tending Peacocks. As for the Leather Bindings, these are earned by posting a general request on your news feed, asking all neighbors for help. You'll receive 20 XP and 1,000 coins for completing this first quest.

Maiden Maker

  • Craft 3 Cloth Aprons

  • Craft 4 Flour Sacks

  • Have 5 Diamonds

First things first, the Diamonds can be earned at random when you collect from Mining Camps or when you mine into rocks in your Kingdom. As for the Cloth Aprons, they can be crafted inside the Studio using two Ropes and two Cotton Cloths each. Finally, the Flour Sacks can be made inside the Kitchen using four Wheat and three Reputation Hearts each. Even though there's a lot of crafting in this quest, it's still relatively easy, and you'll receive 5,000 coins and 30 XP for finishing it off.

Maiden Business

  • Craft 5 Wool Cloths

  • Tend 3 Flowers

  • Craft 3 Axes

The Wool Cloths are created inside the Studio with five Wool Thread being requires for a single Wool Cloth. Each Wool Thread requires three Wool, so you'll need to tend a bunch of Sheep if your stockpile on Wool is rather low. As for the Iron Axes, these are created inside the Workshop using two Iron Bars and one Grindstone each. Grindstones are another crafting project, requiring five Stones and five Reputation Hearts to create (each). After you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,500 coins and 30 XP.

Hero Academy

  • Craft 2 Saucy Tarts

  • Craft 6 Candles

  • Perform 5 Actions in Duke's Kingdom

The Saucy Tarts are made inside the Kitchen using one Butter, three Eggs, one Sugar and one Apple Slice. The recipe takes one hour to prepare. As for the Candles, these are made in the Studio using three Cotton Threads, eight Beeswax and five Reputation Hearts each. You can either craft the Cotton Thread from Cotton, or you can ask your friends to send them to you outright. Either way, you'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP for completing this quest.

Mucho Macho

  • Craft 2 Hammers

  • Craft 2 Bags of Nails

  • Banish 2 Beasties

Your best bet for bringing out Beasties, aside from using Potions to spawn them instantly, would be to tend animals or flowers, as Wolves love both. Meanwhile, both the Hammers and the Bags of Nails are created inside the Workshop. A single Hammer requires two Wood, two Iron Bars and three Reputation Hearts. As for the Bags of Nails, they can be crafted using Iron Bars, Leather and Reputation Hearts. You'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this quests.

Epic Meal Time

  • Craft 3 Tomato Bisque Soup

  • Craft 4 Plates of Spaghetti

  • Have 8 Bubbly Grogs

The Tomato Bisque Soups are another crafting project for the Kitchen, and they require 20 Tomatoes, 10 Milk and three Butter to craft. As for the Plates of Spaghetti, you'll need 10 Wheat, three Flaxseed Oil, and seven Tomatoes to craft a single plate over two hours. If you don't already have the Bubbly Grogs in your inventory, you can craft them inside the Kitchen using five Pails of Water and five Ogres' Belches for a single one. You'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP when you complete this quest.

It's Magic

  • Cast Cleansing Rain Spell 3 Times

  • Craft 4 Green Fairy Elixirs

  • Have 10 Parchments

The Cleansing Rain Spell is a green Nature spell that allows you to revive withered crops. A single Cleansing Rain can be stocked using six Fish, four Wool, five Magic Beans and three Aquamarine. While you're waiting for your friends to send you materials for this Cleansing Rain Spell, you can craft the Green Fairy Elixirs in the Studio. A single batch requires three Corks, three Grubs and 10 Sugar. Finally, if you don't have the 10 Parchments in your inventory, you can create a single one using four Wood and six Cotton. You'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP when you complete this quest.

Spell It Out!

  • Cast the Harvest Moon Spell 3 Times

  • Cast the New Bloom Spell 3 Times

  • Cast the Frostmite Spell 3 Times

These three spells (technically nine spells) can be crafted inside the Spellbook. The Harvest Moon spell is a blue Celestial spell that requires five Magic Beans, three Moon Beams, two Butter and six Honey to create. The Moon Beams are earned from your friends. This spell itself offers an enchantment to Royal Buildings so that they drop extra items the next time you tend them.

As for the New Bloom Spell, this one transforms your old flowers into new ones. A single casting requires three Beanstalk Leaves, five Grapes and two Flaxseed Oil to create. Finally, the Frostmite Spell is a pink Spirit Spell that requires one Alchemist Powder, three Aquamarine and six Pails of Water to prepare. You're almost done with these quests now, and you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP for finishing this one.

Epic Poems

  • Buy 4 Beastie Potions

  • Banish 4 Beasties

The Beastie Potions are purchased in the market with Reputation Hearts. A Gloom Rat Potion costs just five Hearts, so feel free to purchase four of those if you can. You can either use those potions immediately and banish the Gloom Rats to finish this quest, or you can banish any Beasties that might already been in your Kingdom. Either way, once you complete this quest, Quinn's poem will have the finale he desires and you'll receive 1,500 coins and 30 XP.

There's not a time limit for completing these quests, and thankfully, none of these crating projects are overly difficult to complete. Good luck!
