BUFORD, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Theragenics Corporation (NYS: TGX) , a medical device company serving the surgical products and prostate cancer treatment markets, announced today that in view of the market activity in the Company's stock on Thursday, December 20, 2012, the New York Stock Exchange contacted the Company on December 24, 2012, in accordance with the Exchange's usual practice. Theragenics Corporation (NYS: TGX) operates two business segments: its surgical products business and its brachytherapy seed business.
