CityVille Polar Express Winter Gondola: Everything you need to know
While there are already plenty of ways for your citizens to get around town in CityVille, from Cars and Buses to the Monorail, there's always room for one more, which is where the new Polar Express Winter Gondola comes in. This Winter Gondola is similar to the Monorail, in that you'll need a complete closed loop of a track to actually set it in motion. This feature also comes with a three-part goal series, and we're here with a guide to this new form of transportation, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Build the Gondola Station
Place 5 Gondola Tracks
Upgrade Gondola Station to Level 2
The Gondola Station is a large rectangle that takes six energy to build. Once you've finished the base, you'll need to start collecting building materials with the help of friends. You'll need five Lift Doors, five Mechanical Levers, five Steel Lines, five Gears, five Tickets and five Clamps to finish off the first stage of the Gondola's construction, with most items being earned via a combination of general news posts and individual requests sent directly to your neighbors. As for the Clamps and Steel Lines, these are earned by collecting from matching "Gondola" buildings that can be purchased in the store. This set includes the Winter Vacation Home and Ski Lodge that are available for City Cash (not the Ski Lodge business from the Out in the Cold series), and items like the Gondola Ticket Center, Brochure Stand business and Gondola Museum community building that cost coins.
After you've finished the initial construction, your Gondola Station will be a business that requires 80 Goods to operate. You'll be able to upgrade the Gondola Station by collecting even more of these building materials. To be specific, you'll need 10 each this time around. When you complete this goal, you'll receive 10 energy.

Increase Population by 2,000 citizens
The Cabling can be earned by posting a general news item on your wall for help. Meanwhile, you can continue to upgrade the Gondola Station to place more parts, with the next upgrade requiring 20 each of the building materials listed above. You'll receive 20 free energy for completing this goal.

Collect from Gondola Stations 20 Times
Upgrade 2 Gondola Stations to Level 3
Collect 20 Panoramic Photos
Additional Gondola Stations can be purchased in the store for 100,000 coins each, while the Panoramic Photos can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you via a general request on your news feed. You'll receive five more Gondola Tracks for completing this final goal of the three. Good luck!
