But while they both might be major names in this industry, the two companies have radically different investing theses. Intel is definitely the value play, an institution in this industry, trading very cheaply at the moment because of major headwinds with the PC market slowing down, while Qualcomm is the growth play, as one of the dominant players in the mobile chip space.
