FarmVille: Celebrate Christmas with a give one, get one event

One of the best things about playing games on Facebook is the ability to form friendships with new players all around the world, or rekindle relationships with friends that might have moved away. If you're looking for a way to give those "far away" a little something this Christmas, a new FarmVille Friendship event might be just what you're looking for.

For a limited time, players can now pay 5 Farm Cash to send a sparkling golden unicorn to a single friend. This Glittercorn can be sent to as many friends as you'd like, but you'll only see six of your "most helpful" neighbors at once. While there's no way to search for a specific friend manually, if you don't see the friend you'd like to send a Glittercorn to the first time around, simply close this promotional window and open it again via the icon on the right side of the screen.

If you send at least one Glittercorn to a single friend, you'll receive a Glitter Holiday Tree as a gift for your own farm, which of course brings about a bit of strategy for players that are simply interested in collecting everything ever released in FarmVille. If you'd like both items, simply partner with a particular friend. If you each buy each other a Glittercorn, you'll both receive Glitter Holiday Trees as well, leaving you to have two brand new and exclusive items for just five Farm Cash.
