CityVille New Year's Eve Goals: Everything you need to know
As part of CityVille's New Year's Eve event, players are being encouraged to complete a pair of goals to plan for the biggest party of the year. These New Year's Eve goals are limited edition, being available for just 15 days from this writing, and we're here with a guide to finishing them off, thanks to CityVille Wiki. Let's get started!
Party Planning
Harvest 30 Cranberries
Collect from Banks 5 Times
Place 2 New Year's Countdown Event Prizes
First things first, the Cranberries can be planted for 49 coins per square, and they are ready to harvest in 12 hours. Since these goals are timed, it's definitely worthwhile to plant all of these crops at once, if you have enough land space to do so (and energy to harvest them when they're done). As for the Bank, make sure to check your Community Building storage structures if you can't find the Bank in your own city right off of the bat. It's likely that you stored it and will either need to pull it out to harvest it, or harvest the entire storage building at once (which of course takes more energy).
Finally, the New Year's Countdown prizes are items like a decorative sign or tower, with one item being available each day. Conveniently enough, there are two decorative prizes available in this event already, and you might have already earned them if you're one of the game's more dedicated players. For completing this first goal, you'll receive 100 XP and three Bonus Crew Members.

Collect from the Handbag Store 15 Times
Supply Restaurants 30 Times
Place 4 New Year's Countdown Event Prizes
For this Countdown requirement, you won't even have four items that can be placed until the Countdown reaches Day 8 in six days, since the other prizes in the countdown are collectibles or boosts like Goods or Zoning Permits. This gives you plenty of time to supply the Restaurants. While Restaurants are definitely one of the more common business types in CityVille, make sure that you haven't stored a ton away that can be used to more quickly finish this event. Finally, if you're interested in purchasing more Handbag Stores to finish this goal, you can purchase them from the store for 10,000 coins each. They each require 120 Goods to supply. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 300 XP and four Zoning Permits.
