Groupon has acquired CommerceInterface, a Web-based channel management technology provider, Groupon said in an official statement. The online deals company has used CommerceInterface solutions since this past April for its Groupon Goods merchandise offerings.

Following the acquisition, CommerceInterface "will no longer service other retail channels and current customers will have the option to transition to other vendors over the next six months with migration support from the company," Groupon wrote in its statement.

The price and the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
