Proto Labs Expands Protomold Materials

Leading injection molding service adds several new high temperature resins

MAPLE PLAIN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Proto Labs, Inc. (NYS: PRLB) , a leading online and technology-enabled quick-turn manufacturer, announces the availability of several additional high temperature resins through its Protomold injection molding service.


Beginning today, customers can upload their 3D CAD model at the Protomold website www.protomold.com, and have quick-turn injection molded parts made in a variety of high temperature resins including Ultem™ (PEI) and PEEK. Parts made from these resins are often used in medical/healthcare and food contact applications. Customers uploading parts will quickly receive back an interactive ProtoQuote, from which they can easily place an order.
