Airgas Announces Core Business Acquisitions
Adds four industrial gas and welding supply distributors with combined annual revenues of approximately $20 million
RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Airgas, Inc. (NYS: ARG) , the largest U.S. supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and related products, today announced that it has acquired the assets and operations of four businesses that complement the Airgas portfolio of products and services. Combined annual revenues for the four acquired businesses are approximately $20 million. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
U.S. Welding & Safety Supply Co., with operations in Miami, FL, specializes in the distribution of welding equipment and welding-related hardgoods, such as consumables. U.S. Welding joined Airgas USA, LLC's South region effective December 3rd.
Industrial gas and welding supply distributors Rebel Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc., with operations in Vicksburg, MS, and Tallulah, LA, and Sadler Welding Products, LLC, with operations in Dothan, Eufaula, and Troy, AL, and Panama City, FL, joined Airgas USA, LLC's South region effective December 3rd and December 17th, respectively.
Rochester Welding Supply Corp., an industrial gas and welding supply distributor with operations in Rochester and Manchester, NY, joined Airgas USA, LLC's Northeast region effective December 17th.
