FarmVille Crop Bonanza: Everything you need to know
As part of the return of Player Appreciation Week in FarmVille, Zynga has released a slew of goodies this weekend as a way to say thanks.
First things first, triple mastery has been turned on in the game, but as this latest update deals with crops - hence the name "Crop Bonanza" - the triple mastery only applies to crops and seeds that are harvested until the end of this weekend. In addition, five limited edition crops have been unlocked for all players, but if you've been a long-time player of the game, you might have already mastered them via a previous release. Here's a breakdown of the now free crops.
Green Peppermint
Costs: 15 coins per square
Harvests for: 120 coins
Harvest Time: 8 hours
XP Gained: 2 per square
Yellow Rose
Costs: 20 coins
Harvests for: 200 coins
Harvest Time: 2 days
XP Gained: 3
Rainbow
Costs: 10 coins
Harvests for: 150 coins
Harvest Time: 1 day
XP Gained: 3
Poinsettia
Costs: 45 coins
Harvests for: 126 coins
Harvest Time: 1 day
XP Gained: 3
Crystal
Costs: 50 coins
Harvests for: 200 coins
Harvest Time: 1 day
XP Gained: 3
Since these crops have been unlocked across your many farms, you can feel free to use one farm for one crop and grow everything all at the same time! Just remember to harvest whatever crops you can this weekend in order to gain the triple mastery points that will help you master these formerly limited edition crops even more quickly than before!
In addition, players have also been given free Vehicle Parts and other boosts that will automatically appear in their inventory. If you've yet to upgrade your farming vehicles on Mistletoe Lane, for instance, these parts can come in pretty handy, helping you do just that.
