USANA Shakes Up Management Ranks
On Friday, USANA Health Sciencesannounced a series of management changes. Chief Financial Officer Doug Hekking is stepping down from the CFO's post to resume an unspecified "strategic role that will support the Company's finance and operations groups." USANA's current Vice President of Human Resources, Paul Jones, a seven-year veteran of USANA, has been promoted to the CFO position on an interim basis.
The company's Chief Operating Officer, Roy Truett, has resigned, and assuming his responsibilities is Chief Production Officer Jim Brown, who will "report directly to the CEO," but not inherit Mr. Truett's COO title.
USANA announced that it has named a Chief Information Officer, Rick Stambaugh, a former Director of Corporate Marketing at Herbalife . The company also promoted Executive Director of U.S. Field Development Lori Truman to the position of Vice President of U.S. Field Development.
Shares reacted negatively to the news, closing down 8.2%, at $38.42.
