ChefVille 'More the Very Merrier' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Once you've completed the "Winter Feast Begins" quests in ChefVille's Christmas event, you'll still only be halfway done with the 30 Winter Ribbons that are up for grabs. If you do some math, you'll realize that there aren't enough dishes to add up to 30 Winter Ribbons, which is where an appliance upgrade comes into play! That's right, you can now upgrade your Winter Oven to unlock the rest of this event's dishes, and will need to do so to complete the "More the Very Merrier" quest line. We're here with a guide on completing these quests, so let's get started!

More Than Enough

  • Have the Winter Oven

  • Upgrade the Winter Oven to Level 2

  • Eat 5 Dishes at Neighbors' Restaurants

While you can tend any dishes in your neighbors' restaurants, our suggestion would be to tend those that contain items like Apples, Oranges and even Milk, as you'll need a lot of those particular ingredients throughout this event. As for the upgrade, it's unlocked by collecting four Partridge Pronouncements, three French Hen Huddles, four Pheasant Feedbacks, and three

Turtledove Talks. The Partridge and Pheasant items are earned by posting general requests to your news feed, while the other two sets of items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors. As usual, we'd suggest playing ChefVille on Zynga.com long enough to ask for these items, as you'll be able to make progress faster with the help of strangers, rather than just relying on friends. When you complete this first quest, you'll receive two Green Beans, two Sugars and two Gingers.

Have Some Beef

  • Cook 4 Holiday Stuffing

  • Give Chef's Service with Beef Wellington 4 Times

  • Cook 3 Meatball Sandwiches

A single Meatball Sandwich is cooked on the Grill using five Sirloin Beef and one Tomato Sauce. Since you only have to "cook" this dish, rather than serving it, you can feel free to cook one and cancel it, only to start it over again to earn progress. You'll lose the ingredients for doing so, but if you've already mastered this dish to its full three stars, you're "wasting" the ingredients by cooking the dish either way.

As for the Holiday Stuffing, this dish requires four Wheat Bread, two Green Beans, and one Mushroom to cook. It takes just three minutes to prepare, and you'll earn the first Ribbon of Mastery after just three servings (so, before you actually finish this quest). Finally, Beef Wellington can also be cooked on the Winter Oven using four Sirloin Beef, one Salt and one Dough each. It takes six five minutes to cook. After you finish this quest, you'll receive two Ginger Glazes, one Parmesan Cheese

and one Holiday Wreath decoration.

The Nut Cracker

  • Ask friends for 8 Nutcrackers

  • Serve 2 Ginger Glazed Roast

  • Have 30 Winter Ribbons

This is presumably the final quest in ChefVille's Christmas event, which is why it asks you to earn all 30 Winter Ribbons that are available. The Nutcrackers can be earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors, while the Ginger Glazed Roast can be cooked on the Winter Oven using four Sirloin Beef, two Mushrooms and two Ginger Glaze each. It takes six hours to cook, so make sure to keep that in mind before setting it to actually cook, since you won't be able to earn any other mastery Ribbons on the Oven until it's done. You have just five days to finish off this entire event, so good luck!
