Bad Piggies goes free, with all Rovio iPad games on sale for 99 cents
For seemingly no reason at all, Rovio has slashed the prices on all of its iPad games for a limited time. That includes its most recent releases, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Star Wars, along with every game in the series released prior. (Not to mention Amazing Alex.) In related news, Rovio also released a "lite" (i.e. free) version of Bad Piggies both on iPhone and iPad.
We're guessing this is to celebrate Rovio's immense success ... or maybe it's to celebrate that the Angry Birds movie is one step closer to actually happening. At any rate, this is a fine time as any to get into the franchise that skyrocketed mobile gaming to the center of pop culture, all in HD and for a fraction of the cost.
