This week in The Sims Social, you're introduced to Alan, a childhood friend of your cousin Vicky, to restore Old Jack's Bar. While hard at work, Alan lets you in on a little secret: He has been longing to ask Vicky out on a date. Get ready to play Cupid, because you need to get these estranged love birds together.

This is the second part of a three-part quest guide, courtesy of The Sims Social team at Playfish. Remember, if all three weeks' quests are completed on time, not only will you get the Winter Chalet, but also an awesome sleigh. Below is a step-by-step guide to completing the second portion of this three week quest:

Step 1 – A Favor Among Friends

  • 'Reminisce'

  • Uncover Old Jack's Bar

  • Finish the first stage of Old Jack's Bar


Click on Alan in the Winter Chalet and select 'Reminisce' about the old days. Click on Old Jack's Bar in the Winter Chalet and select 'Uncover'. Then, go ahead and complete the first stage of Old Jack's Bar by completing all seven steps. Rewards: 20 LP, 30 Simoleons, 20 XP

Step 2 – A Favor Among Friends

  • Collect wine glasses

  • Clear pinecones

  • Finish the first stage of the Majestica Fireplace


You will need to collect two wine glasses in the step. Ask some friends to help you out. Then Click on pinecones around the Winter Chalet and 'Clear' them. Make sure you clear at least three pinecones. Next click on the Majestica Fireplace and finish its first stage by completing all five steps. Rewards: 30 LP, 40 Simoleons, 30 XP

Step 3 – A Favor Among Friends

  • 'Would You Date Alan?'

  • Rebuild My Snuggle Buns Pal

  • 'Bunny Tango'


Click on Vicky and select the option, 'Would You Date Alan?' Click on the My Snuggle Buns Pal and rebuild it when you have all the necessary collectibles. Ask over three Sims, click them and select the option, 'Bunny Tango.' Rewards: 40 LP, 50 Simoleons, 40 XP, 2 Energy

Step 4 – A Favor Among Friends

  • 'Ask For Eggnog Recipes'

  • Collect firewood

  • Finish the second stage of Old Jack's Bar


Ask over three Sims and 'Ask For Eggnog Recipes'. To collect firewood, you can ask friends to send you some or go ahead and click on pinecones in the Winter Chalet for a chance to collect the same. You will need to have five logs of firewood. Finish the second stage of Old Jack's Bar by completing all seven steps. Rewards: 50 LP, 50 XP, 60 Simoleons, 3 Energy

Step 5 – A Favor Among Friends

  • 'You Look Fine'

  • Collect Memories

  • Complete the second stage of the Majestica Fireplace


Help build Alan's confidence by clicking on him and selecting the option, 'You Look Fine.' Collect three memories by asking friends to send you some or by clearing snow puddles around the Winter Chalet. Click on the Majestica Fireplace and complete the second stage by completing all five steps. Rewards: 60 LP, 70 Simoleons, 60 XP, 4 Energy

Step 6 – A Favor Among Friends

  • Complete Old Jack's Bar

  • 'Show Off Tricks'

  • Post a feed and get friends to try your drinks


Complete Old Jack's Bar by completing the third and final stage. Then go ahead and click on the bar and select the option 'Show Off Tricks.' Then go ahead and post a feed on your wall and get friends to try your drinks. You will need five friends to click on this feed. Rewards: 80 LP, 100 Simoleons, 80 XP, 5 Energy
