Interactive Brokers Launches Electronic Marketplace for Advisors

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: IBKR) is pleased to announce the launch of the IB Money Manager Marketplace, the first fully electronic forum designed to connect Wealth Managers and Money Managers.

Advisors focused on Wealth Management - that is, the gathering of client assets - connect with Money Managers, who are advisors with expertise in investing and trading equities, options, futures, forex, and bonds domestically or across international markets.

The IB Money Manager Marketplace provides a venue for Money Managers to advertise their trading expertise and access a large pool of potential new clients. Participants utilize IB's sophisticated trading platform, Trader Workstation (TWS), and superior worldwide trade execution across multiple asset classes.

Advisors with clients at IB can easily access the fully electronic IB Money Manager Marketplace in Account Management. Money Managers complete an application to list trading services in the Marketplace by visiting the Money Manager Open Account page.

Steve Sanders, Executive Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, at Interactive Brokers Group, said of the Money Manager Marketplace, "The new program cuts out search costs for Wealth Managers seeking trading expertise for client accounts, and provides a one-stop-shop for Money Managers looking to market and use their skills to trade the world's markets."
