CastleVille 'Yulefest Presents' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Christmas cheer and presents have come to our Kingdoms in CastleVille, as players can now partner up with friends to wrap presents that will be available for unwrapping on December 25. Each present can be wrapped up to 40 times, and the more times a present is wrapped, the better the final prize will be inside! We're here with a complete look at this presents feature, along with its six quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

In the Bag

  • Place Kringle's Magic Bag

  • Begin Wrapping 1 Present

  • Tax 5 Houses

Kringle's Magic Bag can be placed for free via this quest window. From there, you can start working on a present either alone or with a friend. In this way, this event resembles the Phoenix growing event, as both you and your friend will be able to contribute to the growth of a single present. Once you collect from five homes, you'll complete this first quest and will receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

Wrapper's Delight

  • Have 3 Yulefest Cards

  • Craft 3 Gift Wraps

  • Feed 10 Animals

The Yulefest Cards can be earned by posting a general request to your feed for help. Meanwhile, the Gift Wrap is the "food" of this event that will allow you to grow your Christmas Presents. The first stage requires five Gift Wrap, and a single Gift Wrap can be created with two Wrapping Paper, five Beeswax and one Yulefest Ribbon. You can earn additional Wrapping Paper by collecting from homes in your town, while Yulefest Ribbon is earned by posting a general request to your feed. After you complete this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

A Jolly Medium

  • Make 5 Gift Wraps

  • Go Fishing 5 Times

  • Craft 3 Egg Grogs

As you wrap your presents, they'll each go through three prize stages, with each stage coming with an assortment of random prizes that you can potentially win on December 25. A Medium Present is earned after wrapping a gift five times, while a Large Present needs to be wrapped 18 times. Finally, an Epic present must be wrapped 40 times, and you'll have just seven days to grow each individual present once you begin. As for the Egg Grog, this is prepared using items like Ice Chunks, Eggs, Ogre's Belch and more. Completing this quest gives you 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

Givin' Large

  • Have 5 Holly Sprigs

  • Make 7 Gift Wraps

  • Start Wrapping 2 More Yulefest Presents

You can work on more than one present at once, so don't get worried if you haven't completed your first present in this event just yet. While you're working on creating dozens of Gift Wrap to grow them, you can also post a general request to your news feed for the Holly Sprigs. Complete this quest and you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.

Present and Accounted For

  • Make 10 Gift Wraps

  • Cast the Shakedown Spell 2 Times

  • Visit 3 Neighbors

The Shakedown Spell is found under the green Nature section of the Spellbook, and it allows you to collect coins from several buildings at once. This is helpful considering that Wrapping Paper can be earned by tending homes in your Kingdom. You'll receive another 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this quest.

Happy Yulefest

  • Open your Yulefest Presents

  • Start Wrapping 2 More Presents

  • Craft 3 Pumpkin Pies

Since you can't open your Yulefest Presents until Christmas itself, you also won't be able to complete this quest until then. Still, you can work on growing as many presents as possible before that time comes, and will also need to cook the Pumpkin Pies using items like Eggs and Sugar. If you can complete this entire quest series, even outside of opening presents, you'll receive 1,750 coins, 35 XP and a Reindeer for your Kingdom.

We'll make sure to let you know some of the items you can find inside your Medium, Large and Epic presents as soon as we learn more. Stay tuned!
