You Don't Know Jack is social game of the year, to hit iOS and Android

According to the 2012 Video Game Awards on Spike TV, that is. The annual games award show aired just this past friday, and whaddya know, it included a social games category. The mega popular, super irreverent trivia game franchise by Jellyvision Games, You Don't Know Jack, hit Facebook earlier this year, wowing us in some ways and disappointing us in others.

Regardless of our impressions (especially of that monetization scheme), You Don't Know Jack took the coveted--by some, we guess--Social Game of the Year award during the show. YDKJ went up against some of the most impressive social games of the year: Draw Something, Marvel: Avengers Alliance and SimCity Social.

Frankly, we're surprised by the results, but Jellyvision Games doesn't seem to be. In fact, the studio doesn't even plan to take a vacation to celebrate the win. Jellyvision announced that YDKJ is coming to iOS "in the very near future" on its Facebook fan page. According to Joystiq, the studio began testing on Android recently, so YDKJ will hit just all about all mobile devices that matter imminently.
