Marion County Sheriff John Layton Announces Foreclosed Property Sales Available Online

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Downloading the list of foreclosed properties in Marion County available for sale just became easier through an enhanced online service developed in partnership by Local Government Online (LoGO) Indiana, a subsidiary of NIC Inc. (NAS: EGOV) and the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

The enhanced Online Real Estate Application (https://www.biz.indygov.org/realestate) allows citizens and businesses to download the Sheriff's Sales and Sold Lists of properties available for auction in the county. Each year thousands of properties are sold through the Marion County Sheriff's Sale List, with the majority comprising residential properties. The enhanced online service provides three options of lists to download: the 'Full List' that includes plaintiff, township, sale number, judgment amount and address, the 'Short List' of township, sale number and address, and the Sold List. More than 880 lists have been downloaded using the enhanced online service this year, with list prices ranging from just over $4 to $14.
