EchoStar Gets Its Old CFO Back

Updated

EchoStar Corp. (NAS: SATS) announced today that it has rehired former Chief Financial Officer David J. Rayner as its CFO.

Rayner left the company in November 2011 to take a position as CFO at Colorado start-up Tendril Networks, and was at that time replaced by Kenneth G. Carroll as CFO of EchoStar. Carroll will now fulfill a broadened role as executive vice president of corporate and business development at EchoStar, while Rayner resumes his old job.

Rayner has a long history with EchoStar. Prior to leaving the company, he had worked for either EchoStar or its predecessor DISH Network (NAS: DISH) since 2004. At DISH, he served first as CFO and later as executive vice president of installation and service networks. At EchoStar, he worked as chief administrative officer before becoming CFO. Prior to 2004, he had served as CFO of TW Telecom (NAS: TWTC) .
