ChefVille 'The Cheese Cache' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you're having trouble earning mastery stars on ChefVille's new appliance the Fondue Pot, it's likely due to the lack of specialty cheeses that are available to players. Sure, we can purchase items like Gruyere Cheese, but wouldn't it be nice if we had a way to earn some more for free? We can do just that via the Cheese Cellar upgrade, which is now available in our restaurants. The Cheese Cellar upgrade is available via a three part quest series called "The Cheese Cache," and we're here with a guide on how to finish them off! Let's get started!

To the Cellar Door

  • Upgrade the Cheese Cellar

  • Collect from the Upgraded Cheese Display 5 Times

  • Cook Broccoli Cheese Soup 8 Times

You can only access the upgrade window after collecting from a ready Cheese Cellar. Since it's not a new item, you won't have to waste energy on unwrapping anything, and can instead focus on collecting building materials. You'll need six Cheese Picks and six Cheese Knives to complete the upgrade, with the Knives coming from individual requests sent to your friends. The Cheese Picks are earned via individual posts on your news feed, but unfortunately, clicking on a friends' post won't give you another Cheese Pick, so you'll be stuck at five unless you decide to purchase the final one with Chef Cash. To be clear, the game will eventually let you post another request for a Cheese Pick, but the fact that this limit has been put in place is rather disappointing to say the least.

If anything, this delay will allow you to work on the Broccoli Cheese Soup task in peace. A single batch requires three one Broccoli and one Cheddar Cheese to prepare, and it can be cooked over a two minute period. Once the Cheese Cellar has been upgraded, it will drop one Cheese ingredient per harvest. You might receive a Cheddar Cheese, but you may also receive a Gruyere, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Fontina or Parmesan Cheese instead. That being the case, if you're working on

mastering a dish that requires tons of Cheddar Cheese, your best bet is to stock up on that ingredient before finishing this upgrade.

Cheese by Another Name

  • Ask for 8 Cheese Cutters

  • Give 8 Chef's Services with Cheesy Stuffed Tomatoes

  • Serve Caprese Salad

A single Cheesy Stuffed Tomatoes is prepared on the Broiler using two Tomatoes, one Mozzarella and one Salt. It takes just two minutes to prepare, so make sure you have enough energy to serve those eight servings to guests after it's done. As for the Caprese Salad, this is prepared on the Salad Station using five Tomatoes, one Mozzarella and two Pepper.

De-Cheesing the Cheese Display

  • Cook Garlic Cheese Bread 4 Times

  • Get 8 Cheese Papers

  • Serve Chicken Parmesan 3 Times

The Cheese Papers are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Garlic Cheese Bread is prepared in the Broiler. A single batch takes six hours to cook, and requires one Garlic Bread and two Mozzarella Cheeses. As for the Chicken Parmesan, this is a Skillet dish that requires 10 Chicken, four Tomato Sauces and four Parmesan Cheeses. It takes 16 hours to cook, so keep that in mind before going in. Good luck finishing these quests in your restaurant!
