BankUnited, Inc. Announces 24 Percent Increase in Quarterly Dividend

MIAMI LAKES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- BankUnited, Inc. (NYS: BKU) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per common share and $0.21 per Preferred Stock share, an increase of $0.04, or 24%, from the previous quarterly dividend of $0.17 per common share and Preferred Stock share. The dividend will be payable on Dec. 27, 2012 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 13, 2012.
