The next time you login to your town in SimCity Social, you'll be greeted by a large earthquake that reveals a structure resting on the ocean floor. This is what remains of the Lost City of Atlantis, and through a four-part event, you'll be able to reveal more of the Lost City and eventually claim this ancient wonder for your own city. We're here with a complete guide to finishing Part 1 of this "Secrets of Atlantis" event, thanks to the game's official forums. Let's get started!
Have a Farmer's Market
Collect 5 Emergency Food Parcels
Have 3 Community
While the earthquake wasn't "the Big One," it still has your citizens spooked, so you'll need to check on your town's food supply in case of a future emergency. The Farmer's Market is available in the store for 50,000 Simoleons, and you can collect the Emergency Food Parcels at a completed Farmer's Market. Thankfully, you can collect from the same Market five times, so you don't have to worry about finding extras in your friends' cities. Completing this first quest gives you five XP and three Harmony.
What Just Happened?
Produce 5,000 Materials
Anita can be "consulted" at a High Tech Lab. If you don't have one, it costs 40,000 Simoleons to purchase one from the store (its pollution level is low, and it produces 125 Materials every 90 minutes). As for producing the full 5,000 Materials, you can simply continue to collect from other Factories in your town until you eventually earn enough. For completing this quest, you'll receive five XP and a Bliss.
City Beneath the Sea
Hire Marine Research Team
Commandeer Fishing Boats
From the very beginning of this quest series, you'll be able to see the very top of the Lost City under the water, and can click on it to hire five friends as a Marine Research Team. This is done via individual requests sent directly to your neighbors, or you can purchase each individual "spot" for 5 Diamonds. As for the Fishing Boats task, your best bet is to travel to Don's city, click on his Shipyard and choose "Fish For Clue." You can do this several times in a row, and this should allow you to complete this final quest in Part 1 with relative ease. When you finish this final quest, you'll receive 3,000 Simoleons and eight XP. Things are starting relatively easily in this quest series, but the difficulty (and the expenses) will start piling up from here. Good luck!
