Cheniere Energy (ASE: LNG) is the first and only U.S. company to receive a Department of Energy license and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approval to export liquefied natural gas. With the massive natural gas surpluses that the U.S. is experiencing at the moment, and the huge premiums other nations are paying for it, this is an enormous development for the company.
