Peter J. Raffetto Appointed to Community 1stBank Board of Directors
AUBURN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Community 1st Bank (OTCBB: CFBN), announced that Peter J. Raffetto has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Community 1st Bank. "We are delighted to have Peter join our Board of Directors," stated Russell P. Baldo, Board Chairman. "Peter is highly respected with a successful and tenured career in the banking industry. He will be a valuable addition to the Board."
Mr. Raffetto is retired from a banking career of over three decades in the greater Sacramento region, serving most of those years as President and CEO. Mr. Raffetto's leadership in the community banks that he served was noted for significant organic growth, efficiency and profitability.
Mr. Raffetto has been active in many charitable and civic organizations. Mr. Raffetto has served as a Director of California Independent Bankers and the California Bankers Association. He also served on the Board of Trustees of the University of California, Berkeley Foundation, Chair of the University of California, Berkeley Chancellor's Committee for the Northern California Region, Advisory Board Member of the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Jesuit High School, President of the Sutter Club, President of SACTO and director of the Del Paso Country Club.
Mr. Raffetto obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
