3 Stocks to Watch Right Now

Updated

The following video is from Friday's Motley Fool Money roundtable discussion with host Chris Hill and analysts Joe Magyer, Jeff Fischer, and Ron Gross. In this segment, the guys each give a stock pick for the week. Ron picks Hibbett Sports (NAS: HIBB) , for choosing to build local relationships with smaller communities where the big competitors don't have a presence. Jeff picks BMC Software (NAS: BMC) , a company that designs software solutions for intra-company hardware communication, with a projected 9% growth in earnings for the year. BMC is utilized by most Fortune 500 companies, and has announced a major upcoming share buyback. Joe's pick is the exciting Tesla Motors (NAS: TSLA) , whose all-electric Model S was Motor Trend's car of the year, by unanimous decision. This was a major first for an electric car, and a painful blow to the competition.

Speaking of the competition, it's true that decades of mismanagement of General Motors led to a painful bankruptcy in 2009, but it emerged a leaner, stronger company. GM's turnaround, however, is still a work in progress. Investors around the world are wondering if GM has what it takes to reclaim its former glory. John Rosevear has put together a brand-new premium research report telling you what you need to know about GM and its turnaround. If you own, or are thinking about owning, GM, you don't want to miss this report. Click here now to get started.
