Clovis (NAS: CLVS) was forced to admit an unpleasant defeat after data emerged showing no significant difference in survival rates for advanced pancreatic cancer patients treated with the company's drug candidate CO-101 versus the current chemotherapy treatment, gemcitabine. The news caused the stock to drop by nearly 40% on Monday.
