Foster Wheeler Crushes Earnings Estimates

EPS came in at $0.56. The 14 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.44 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.54 for Q3 were 74% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.31 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 19.2%, 720 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.5%, 480 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.2%, 390 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.12 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.49.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $4.09 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.65.
