Epoch Declares Special Dividend of $0.75 Per Share

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Epoch Holding Corporation ("Epoch" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: EPHC), a leading investment manager and investment adviser, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a special cash dividend of $0.75 per share on the Company's common stock, payable on December 14, 2012 to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 30, 2012. The aggregate dividend payment will total approximately $17.8 million based on the number of shares of common stock currently outstanding.

"In light of our strong balance sheet and liquidity position, as well as continued confidence in the long-term growth of our business, the Board has decided to return a portion of our cash to shareholders through a special dividend," stated William W. Priest, Chief Executive Officer. "This decision by our Board reflects our commitment to enhance shareholder value through dividends and share repurchases, while maintaining sufficient capital for growth initiatives."
