Global Telecom & Technology Strengthens Industry Expertise with New Executive Vice President Hire, Layne Levine

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Global Telecom & Technology, Inc. ("GTT") (GTLT: OTCQB), a global network operator delivering managed data services to enterprise, government and carrier customers in over 80 countries worldwide, hires Layne Levine as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Levine will lead GTT's customer growth initiatives, executing a plan that leverages GTT's global Ethernet footprint and IP Transit backbone, and spear-heading GTT's expansion into the Enterprise markets in North America.

Mr. Levine is an accomplished and results-driven senior executive with more than 25 years of proven success in developing highly productive sales teams. Mr. Levine joins GTT most recently from Alpheus Communications where he launched the company's Enterprise Sales Division. Prior to Alpheus, Mr. Levine was SVP of Sales for Deltacom/Earthlink Communications where he was responsible for over $300 million in annual revenue, 35 branch offices, and 300 sales, sales engineering and customer support professionals. Mr. Levine was previously the Chief Operating Officer at Airband Communications and spent over 15 years at Broadwing/Level(3), which included his role as SVP of global sales and support and other executive positions. Mr. Levine received his Bachelor of Arts in political science at Texas Tech University.
