CenterPoint Energy Beats on EPS But GAAP Results Lag

For the quarter, gross margin was 42.6%, 550 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 19.9%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 0.6%, 5,110 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $2.47 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.24.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $8.36 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.19.
