CACI Awarded $53 Million Contract to Provide Acquisition Support for Naval Sea Systems Command

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been awarded a $53 million follow-on contract to continue providing acquisition and lifecycle support for the Expeditionary Warfare and Maritime Surveillance Program Offices (PMS408 and PMS485) of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). This award, which is for a six-month base period and two six-month options, demonstrates CACI's strong capability in the logistics and material readiness market.

With a force of 60,000 civilian, military, and contract support personnel, NAVSEA engineers, procures, and maintains the Navy's ships and submarines and their combat systems. CACI is providing acquisition and lifecycle support, data management, financial management, and technical support to help the following NAVSEA program offices procure and sustain this equipment: Explosive Ordnance Disposal; Joint Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Electronic Warfare; Anti-Terrorism Afloat; Maritime Surveillance Systems; and Naval Special Warfare. CACI's work on this contract will help the Navy field critical in-theater systems such as counter-IED jamming devices, bomb bots, ship self-defense capabilities, and long-range submarine tracking systems.


CACI has supported these complex acquisition programs since 2005, and its subject matter experts provide a broad range of program planning, technical evaluation, financial monitoring, and logistics expertise. CACI's previous accomplishments in this arena include developing an interactive data environment to make workflows and processes more efficient, reduce cycle time, and increase productivity.
