Brand Alignment to Strengthen Market Awareness in Aftermarket Services Industry and Support On-going Growth of Central Ohio Operations

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) announced Pinnacle Data Systems, Inc. ("PDSi") has been rebranded as part of Avnet Integrated, a global provider delivering a complete portfolio of aftermarket services to the technology supply chain. Acquired Jan. 30, 2012, PDSi complements Avnet's other acquisitions in the aftermarket services industry by adding technical expertise and repair depot services for IT and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) products. The renaming and integration was effective September 29th, 2012.


As part of Avnet Integrated, the Central Ohio facilities have already been able to leverage the strength of the Avnet brand and tools, helping to drive growth and expansion of the local workforce and operations. The Central Ohio facilities are working to fill multiple new positions, including repair technicians, engineers, operations management, quality control and IT roles.
