AECOM awarded US$55-million contract for power plant reconstruction at Eareckson Air Station in Alaska

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AECOM Technology Corporation (NYS: ACM) , a leading global provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 130 countries around the world, announced today that it has been awarded a US$55-million contract by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) for power plant repairs and construction at Eareckson Air Station on Shemya Island, Alaska.

The task order is part of AECOM's indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with the AFCEC to provide worldwide design-build and construction services. The contract, which was awarded during 2008, has a contract ceiling of US$4 billion with a basic ordering period of 60 months plus five one-year options.


AECOM will provide engineering design and construction services for the power plant repair and reconstruction project, which is slated for completion in 2015.
