Powin Corporation Hires Zhen Chen as Chief Operating Officer of Powin Energy And Terry Davis as Vice President of Marketing and Sales
TUALATIN, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Powin Corporation (OTCQB: PWON), a Tualatin, Oregon-based OEM and direct manufacturer for some of America's best-known wholesalers and retailers, including Walmart, Freightliner, LiteSolar and Camp-Chef, announced today that it has added two highly accomplished industry leaders to its management team.
The company has hired Zhen Chen as Chief Operating Officer of its wholly owned subsidiary, Powin Energy (www.powinenergy.com). Mr. Chen has more than 12 years' of experience in the international energy business as a scientist, researcher, team leader, system designer and inventor. Most recently, he was Chief Engineer for Revolt Technology LLC. He holds 15 patents in battery and fuel cell technology and is a published expert in the energy storage field. At Powin Energy, he will be responsible for product development from concept to prototype design, testing and system validation, and for manufacturing and supply chain management.

In addition, the company has appointed Terry Davis as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Davis has more than 30 years of leadership experience in technology marketing and business development, including three years with Vestas Americas Wind Technology, a world leader in wind energy. He will lead all of Powin's sales and marketing efforts in OEM, direct manufacturing and renewable energy products.
