LEBANON, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® salutes veterans of the United States military, many of whom are guests and employees, with a special month-long celebration of Veterans Day in addition to year round efforts. From November 1 through November 30, 2012, Cracker Barrel will donate 10% of the retail sales price of special patriotic items, up to $25,000 to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). The items include Cracker Barrel's signature Peg Game in red, white and blue; a Patriotic Jelly Belly® 10 Flavor Gift Box; and an American flag Tervis® Tumbler. All of the items are available online at crackerbarrel.com and at all Cracker Barrel® locations.

Cracker Barrel has a tradition of supporting organizations that provide for the needs of our service men and women and veterans. Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization that assists injured service members and their families with programs and services designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment. Cracker Barrel has assisted WWP since 2006 through various promotions.

"Last year was the first time we modified our signature Peg Game because it was a special way for us to show our support of the military," said Cracker Barrel President and CEO Sandy Cochran. "The idea really resonated with our guests, so we expanded the offer with additional special products that we hope will have wide appeal and provide worthwhile support for those who have served our country." In addition, Cracker Barrel created an informational flyer, "Why do we celebrate Veterans Day?" that is available at no charge in all of their stores and to download at http://newsroom.crackerbarrel.com/red-white-and-blue/
