Xplore Announces Closing of Public Offering of 2,000,000 Shares of Common Stock

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Xplore Technologies Corp. (NAS: XPLR) ("Xplore" or the "Company"), a manufacturer of award-winning rugged tablet PCs, announced today the closing of its underwritten public offering of 2,000,000 shares of common stock at an offering price of $5.00 per share. Xplore received gross proceeds, before deducting the underwriting discount and offering expenses, of approximately $10 million. Xplore has also granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 300,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

Xplore intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to expand its sales and marketing efforts, increase its product offerings and for working capital and general corporate purposes.


Aegis Capital Corp. acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
