CastleVille Bad Relationship Advice Quests: Everything you need to know
Yvette and Rafael have only been a couple in CastleVille for a short time, but already it seems as though their relationship has hit a rocky patch. Rafael has turned to Hazel for relationship advice, as Yvette has turned distant recently. Things apparently go from bad to worse with Hazel's interference, and we're able to see all of the drama unfold via a series of eight "Bad Relationship Advice" quests that are now available to complete in our Kingdoms. We're here with a guide to completing these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!
A Distant Romance
Tend 3 Flowers
Feed 3 Animals
These two tasks are incredibly simple, but you may need to wait a few minutes to complete them if you routinely tend both flowers and animals in your Kingdom and don't currently have any "ready." Either way, when you finish this first task, you'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP. Don't take the ease of this quest as an indication of things to come though, as we do run into some difficulty as we progress.

Have 5 Hot Irons
Tend Yvette's House
Craft 1 Hammer
The Hot Irons are earned by posting a general request to your news feed, asking your friends for help. Remember, if you're looking to finish these quests quickly, you can post your request(s) on Zynga.com and will receive them (in theory) far more quickly than if you had to wait for your friends to actually come around. As for the Hammer, it can be crafted in your Workshop using two Wood, two Stone Blocks and three Reputation Hearts. Finally, when you tend Yvette's House, you'll actually automatically jump into the upgrade process, which we'll go into more later. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
Hearts on Fire
Repair Yvette's House
Tax 10 Houses
Craft 1 Pumpkin Gumbo
Apparently, in tending Yvette's House, Rafael actually sets it on fire, so you'll need to gather supplies to repair the damage before it's too late. You'll need eight Cute Curtains (ask friends), three Steel Bars (craft in your Workshops), two Brick Ovens (craft in your Workshops) and one Glue (craft in your Studio) to finish the repairs. When you finish this upgrade, Yvette's House will change visually, and it can then be collected from for 450 coins thereafter. Meanwhile, to prepare the Pumpkin Gumbo in the Kitchen, you'll need items like Chicken, Milk Bottles and Fish. Completing this quest gives you 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
A Real Fixer-Upper
Have 5 Buckets of Paint
Craft 2 Lacquered Screens
Collect 10 Berries
Berries are earned by collecting from green plants like grasses, while the Buckets of Paint can be earned by posting a general news item, asking all of your friends for help. While you're waiting for those to arrive, you can craft the two Lacquered Screens using Wood Planks, Amber and Leather. The Leather itself is a crafting project, so make sure you use all of your Studios at once to finish this quest more quickly. When you do complete it, you'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
Minion Mania
Use the Charm Gloom Yeti Spell 2 Times
Craft 3 Cotton Thread
Feed 10 Geese
At this point, Hazel has the great idea of summoning some minions for Rafael so that he can further impress Yvette. Of course, she only summons wild Gloom Yetis, so you'll have to cast the Charm Gloom Yeti Spell to calm them down. This spell is found under the pink "Spirit" section of the Spellbook, and it can be created by combining frozen hearts, carrots, coal and ice chunks. As for the Cotton Thread, it's another crafting project, creating using five Cotton each. You'll be rewarded with 2,000 coins and 40 XP for finishing this quest.
A Romantic Remodel
Have 8 Pieces of Sandpaper
Craft 2 Sledgehammers
Tend Rafael's House
First things first, the Pieces of Sandpaper can be earned by posting a general news item to your wall asking all friends for help. Meanwhile, Sledgehammers can be crafted in your Workshop, but each one requires you to craft three other building materials ahead of time (like Wood Clubs), so these are definitely easier to complete on paper than in practice. Either way, when you complete this quest you'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP.
How Can You Mend a Broken House?
Repair Rafael's House
Craft 2 Berry Scones
Mine 20 Rocks
Now that Rafael's House is need of repair as well, you'll need to start collecting more building materials to fix it. You'll need two Iron Axes, four Bronze Bars, three Mortar and 10 Wood Planks to repair Rafael's House, and only the Wood Planks are available to earn by asking your friends to send them to you. The other items are earned by either crafting them or by purchasing them outright with Crowns. After you fix Rafael's House, it will also look a bit different, and can be collected from for 450 coins into the future. You'l receive 2,000 coins and another 40 XP when you complete this quest.
From the Heart
Cast 2 Sunripen Spells
Feed 20 Cows
Harvest 10 Sugar Cane
The Sunripen Spell is found under the green Nature section in the Spellbook, and it's used to instantly grow crops in your Kingdom. You'll need Eggs, bags of Sand, Candles and more to craft a single Sunripen spell, so feel free to start working on collecting these items even before you actually reach this goal just to save time. Finishing this final quest gives you 2,000 coins, 40 XP and a Flower Fountain decoration for your Kingdom. After this point, you'll also discover what has been bothering Yvette, but we won't spoil that here. Good luck completing these quests!
