WAKE FOREST, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PowerSecure International, Inc. (NAS: POWR) today reported it is serving utilities and their customers as Hurricane Sandy makes its way up the East Coast. PowerSecure has crews dispatched on utilities' emergency restoration teams, and with restoration work now complete in Florida they are transitioning to assist utilities in critical areas in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. In addition, PowerSecure's IDG team has also been in "storm mode" for several days, ensuring its Interactive Distributed Generation® (IDG®) power systems are readied to supply backup power and protect critical facilities along the East Coast.
