FarmVille 2 Candy Shack: Everything you need to know
While FarmVille players are used to be asked to collect pieces of candy around Halloween to redeem for awesome prizes in Zynga's original farming game, FarmVille 2 players are being asked to get in on the fun as well, as a new Candy Shack is now available to place on your farm. This Candy Shack comes pre-built and will allow you to instantly start collecting candy and completing quests in a new limited time event.
Once you place the Candy Shack, you'll be able to click on it to view how many pieces of candy you've accumulated. Candy can be earned in a variety of ways, from simply asking your friends to send some to you, to purchasing it for 1 Farm Buck per piece. You'll also have a chance to receive candy at random whenever you harvest crops, but this is both random and rare. Inside the Candy Shack, you'll see the five prizes that are up for grabs, and their candy prices:
Jack-o-Lantern - 5 Pieces of Candy
Cobweb Fence - 12 Pieces of Candy
Cat-o-Lantern - 23 Pieces of Candy
Bat Kite - 56 Pieces of Candy
These items are presented in a sort of equation at the bottom of the screen, and if you can earn one of each of these four prizes, you'll receive a special fifth prize for free: a free Sheep. Even though Halloween is only a few days away, you'll thankfully have more time after Halloween to actually complete this event, as it won't expire on our farms for the next nine days. Make sure you collect as much candy as possible within that time to earn all of the prizes! Good luck!
