Acme Packet Goes Negative

EPS came in at $0.07. The 22 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.07 per share. GAAP EPS were -$0.08 for Q3 compared to $0.11 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 78.8%, 450 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -10.2%, 2,850 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -8.4%, 1,960 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $69.2 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.09.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $271.5 million. The average EPS estimate is $0.47.
