EPS came in at $1.65. The 14 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $1.65 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.65 for Q3 were 8.6% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.52 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 47.5%, 100 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 22.4%, 140 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 15.5%, 110 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $7.32 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.51.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $29.97 billion. The average EPS estimate is $6.40.
