HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. ("Midstates" or the "Company") (NYS: MPO) announced today that its third quarter 2012 earnings release will be issued on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 after the close of trading on the NYSE. The Company will host a conference call to discuss third quarter results the following morning, Thursday, November 8 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 a.m. Central Time). The Company also announced that an updated investor presentation has been posted to the Investor Relations section of its web site.
