ChefVille The Ball Goes On Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Along with the new series of Undead Chef quests that are available in ChefVille's large Halloween event, another new set of quests has been released by Ginger dealing with serving specific dishes and tending Pumpkin Hay Bales. This "The Ball Goes On" quest set comes with four quests to complete in all, and we're here with a guide to finishing them off, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Spooky Snacks

  • Serve 5 Cackling Kettle Corn

  • Cook 3 Pumpkin Bread Pudding

  • Visit 5 Neighbors' Restaurants

This Pumpkin Bread Pudding is a recipe we should all be familiar with by now, as it's available to cook in the basic Haunted Broiler without any upgrades. Thankfully, the Cackling Kettle Corn is cooked in the upgraded Halloween Cauldron, so you can work on both of these cooking tasks at once. The Halloween Cauldron is upgraded by asking your friends for multiple building materials, so make sure to check out our complete guide to upgrading it for more (hint: it requires items like Cauldron Tricks and Bubbling Banter to complete). Once you've upgraded the Cauldron, you can cook a single Cackling Kettle Corn with one Corn and one Salt. If you don't have any Corn currently, remember to use your Garden Patch as often as you can, as you can earn free Corn at random by tending it.

Zombie Zone

  • Collect 10 Costume Opinions

  • Place 5 Halloween Decorations

  • Tend Pumpkin Hay Bales 15 Times

The Costume Opinions are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, so make sure to ask for these as often as you can to make the most out of your timed requests and not fall behind. As for the Pumpkin Hay Bales, you can purchase these for 400 coins each, but must go through the same staffing process each time you wish to build one. That is, you'll need to spend three energy to unwrap the Hay Bale, and must then bug five friends (or spend 25 Chef Cash) to staff the item before it can ever be used. Once you get to this quest, make sure to try tending Pumpkin Hay Bales in your friends' games just in case that counts. Finally, for the Halloween decorations, you can purchase cheap items like wall pieces for just 20 coins each to quickly (and cheaply) finish off this final task.

Monster Munchies

  • Give 6 Chef's Services with Monster Pumpkin Soup

  • Give 5 Chef's Services with Baked Pumpkin Risotto

  • Give 8 Chef's Services with Pumpkin Waffles

The Monster Pumpkin Soup takes just two minutes to cook, and is prepared via the first level of the Halloween Cauldron with Pumpkins, Onions and Mushrooms. Similarly, the Baked Pumpkin Risotto is also cooked via the Halloween Cauldron, but it takes an hour to prepare and also requires a rather rare ingredient: Long Grain Rice. You can ask your friends for rice via individual requests, so make sure to stock up on this as much as you can before you ever reach this quest to make quick progress. As for the Pumpkin Waffles, they're cooked back on the Haunted Broiler, but as you've probably already completely mastered that dish by now, you'll want to be as active in the game as possible to serve your customers before these servings run out and you have to waste ingredients cooking another batch.

Eerie Chill

  • Earn 36 Spooky Halloween Ribbons

  • Serve 3 Pumpkin Casserole

  • Serve 6 Beef and Pumpkin Chili

This quest is the big one, as it requires you to have completely mastered each and every dish available in both the Haunted Broiler and the Halloween Cauldron, which is no easy task. This is even more difficult considering that we only have eight days to pull this off. Either way, you can get started o the Beef and Pumpkin Chili by cooking it in Level 2 of the Halloween Cauldron. A single batch requires two Pumpkins, two Sirloin Beef and one Pepper, but as it cooks in just three minutes, it's at least easy to earn a lot of mastery stars rather quickly there. As for the Pumpkin Casserole, this is prepared over in the Level 2 of the Haunted Broiler. Regardless of the dish, remember to keep your two cooking appliances cooking each minute of the day, especially on longer cooking time dishes like the Pumpkin Bread Pudding. It's that kind of dedication that will make this task doable, so that you can win the final, grand prize in this event: the Haunted Tree. Good luck!
