ASCC Engages Top Liquor Distributors for Premium Vodka Launch

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aristocrat Group Corp. (OTCBB: ASCC) opened talks this week to get its debut product offering on store shelves nationwide. After all, the best vodka in the world won't sell a drop if it can't be found at your favorite liquor store.

The company has been in contact with the top liquor distributors in the U.S. this week to move forward with plans to license and distribute its new premium vodka across the country.


"Our first hurdle will be identifying and fulfilling the licensing requirements for nationwide distribution," said ASCC CEO Cindy Morrissey. "Different distribution models have different requirements, so we expect the licensing process will guide our plans to launch our first product to a large extent."

Nationwide distribution is an integral part of ASCC's roadmap for success in the liquor industry. Vodka is America's top-selling spirit, with sales accounting for nearly a third of the country's total liquor market. Demand is so strong for the spirit, in fact, that despite the recession, sales actually grew by 13.9 million cases between 2004 and 2009 to reach 58.4 million, according to a report last year by just-drinks and IWSR.

Earlier this month, ASCC announced the formation of new division, Aristocrat Brands, LLC, to identify and promote unique brands that have a mass market appeal across a diverse demographic. Premium vodka fits that description perfectly, and the company expects its forthcoming spirit to be greeted in the marketplace by booming sales.

With these favorable conditions in mind, ASCC sees vodka as the key element to growing its brand management business. The success of the endeavor will allow the company to compete in a highly profitable sector alongside Limited Brands, Inc. (LTD), Proctor & Gamble (PG), New York & Company, Inc.
