QUAN Signs Letter of Intent With Clelland DataSciences to Develop and Market Mine-Killing Robots

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- If Quantum International Corp. (OTCBB: QUAN) proves successful in its latest round of negotiations, advanced new robots could soon be detecting and clearing deadly landmines from former battlefields all over the globe.

Today, the company announced that it signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture with Clelland DataSciences, Inc. (CDS), the makers of specialized imaging technology that both parties hope to develop into autonomous, robotic vehicles capable of sensing and detecting the dangers of hidden minefields.

Using spectral analysis, the futuristic robots could detect mines that other sensors can't, potentially leading to a highly profitable revolution in battlefield demining services. CDS has already sold manned platforms using the technology, but with QUAN's help, hopes to produce an unmanned version capable of detecting landmines with minimal risk to human personnel.

"We estimate the market value for this technology to be in the billions," said Quantum CEO Robert Federowicz. "There is nothing on the market today capable of such a comprehensive and safe approach to ridding the world of landmines. We think a definitive agreement with CDS could improve not only our company's shareholder value, but life on Earth, as well."

Quantum is currently conducting due diligence toward a definitive agreement with CDS. For more information on the company's leading-edge robotics initiatives, please visit www.quantuminnovators.com/investors.html.
