Pomerantz Law Firm Investigates Claims on Behalf of Investors of Ancestry.com, Inc.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pomerantz Grossman Hufford Dahlstrom & Gross LLP is investigating claims on behalf of investors of Ancestry.com, Inc. ("Ancestry.com" or the "Company") (NAS: ACOM) (ISIN: US0328031085) concerning the proposed acquisition of Ancestry.com by Permira Funds in a cash transaction valued at approximately $1.6 billion.

The investigation concerns whether the Ancestry.com directors are breaching their fiduciary duties by failing to adequately shop the Company and maximize shareholder value. Under the terms of the agreement, Ancestry.com shareholders would receive $32 in cash per share of Ancestry.com common stock. However, at least one analyst has set a target price of $45.00 per share.
